Ursul
Ursul is inspired by the Romanian gypsy festival of the same name, in which villagers dress up and parade in grizzly bearskins (Ursus arctos ssp.). Also pictured is the double-crested cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus), the common octopus (Octopus vulgaris), and figures drawn from the photography archives of the natural history museum.
